Chertsey is the KT16 town south of us, over Chertsey Bridge from Shepperton Green. Different postcode area, different borough (Runnymede rather than Spelthorne), and about ten minutes in the van, so we treat it as part of the same round.
The bridge decides the timing
There is one sensible way in and it is the bridge, so a Chertsey job gets booked around the traffic rather than the mileage. Morning jobs we start early. Anything that needs the van parked up for hours, an oven with the dip tank running or a carpet machine on a long lead, we would sooner do mid-morning than at half past four. It is a small thing, and it is why we ask what time suits you when you ring instead of just offering the next free slot.
A different council, the same price list
Chertsey sits in Runnymede, so parking rules and refuse arrangements here are not Spelthorne’s. None of that changes what we charge. Move-out cleans are fixed by bedroom count exactly as they are in TW17: £156 for a studio, £207 for a one bed, £243 for a two bed, £339 for a three bed and £425 for a four bed.
Mostly move-outs and carpets
The mix here leans towards tenancies ending rather than weekly rounds, which is the reverse of what we see up at Upper Halliford. So most Chertsey enquiries come from somebody with a check-out date and an inventory to satisfy. Carpet extraction gets added to about half of them, at £36 a bedroom, £43 a living room and £41 for a flight of stairs, because check-in inventories very often record that the carpets were professionally cleaned at the start of the tenancy.
Regular cleaning we do take on over here, though we will be honest that there are fewer slots this side of the river than there are in the village. The weekly rate is £22 per cleaner per hour and fortnightly is £24.
Deep cleans and notice
One off deep cleans come up here after builders, and before a house goes on the market. They are charged at £26 per cleaner per hour with £30 on top for equipment, so two cleaners for three hours is £186 and that is the smallest booking we take. Give us as much notice as you can in Chertsey. The bridge means we cannot shuffle a team across from the village at an hour’s warning the way we can inside TW17.
Booking it

We answer seven days a week between 8am and 8pm and we can usually price a move-out on the call, because it only needs the bedroom count and whether you want the carpets and a second oven done as well. One off work carries a £67 minimum charge, which a single room of carpet on its own would hit. Questions we get asked
Do you actually cover Chertsey, or only Shepperton?
We cover it. It is over the bridge from Shepperton Green and roughly ten minutes from the village, and there is no extra charge for crossing the river.
Can you do a same-week move-out clean?
Usually. August and the fortnight before Christmas are the tight ones. Any other month we can normally find a day inside the week.
How much is a three bed end of tenancy clean?
£339, fixed and agreed before we start. That covers the whole property including one oven. Carpets are separate at £36 a bedroom.
Do you take weekly work in KT16?
Yes, but we hold fewer slots here than in Shepperton, so ring and ask what is actually free rather than assuming.
